Accompanied by a high mountain guide you will snow shoe on the famous Mer de Glace in Chamonix where you will hear the ice moving, examine crevasses and learn more about these incredible spectacles of nature.
Dates of the Mer de Glace snowshoeing tripEveryday from december to april.
Programme of the full day  Meet you Evolution 2 guide in the morning at the Montenvers-Mer de Glace station in Chamonix (the time will be confirmed the day before).
Take the train up to the Mer de Glace.
Take the gondola and then the stairs to reach the glacier
Snowshoeing on the Mer de Glace: walk on the glacier with your snowshoes, discover of the glacier's secrets...
Lunchat the heart of the Mer de Glace.
Walk on the glacier and come back to the Montenvers and to Chamonix (around 5pm)
GroupsYou will take part of a group from 4 to 6 people per Evolution 2 high mountain guide.
Do not forgetSki clothes, gloves, ski pass, backpack with pic-nic lunch, hiking shoes.
Equipment providedYour high mountain guide will provide Snowshoes, poles and harness.
