The western area of the Bernese Alps is little known, and offers a wide variety of itineraries and a host of refuges for some fantastic ski touring.

Introduction to ski touring, good level of fitness.

Programme of the Wildstrubel ski trip
Day 1 : Meeting point at 9am in Chamonix. Transfer to Loëche, near Montana, in the Rhone valley. Gemmi cable car (2346m), descent to Daubensee (2206m) and ascent to Lämmerenhütte (2507m). DD:140m / DM: 301m.

Day 2 : Le Steghorn (3146m) or le Rothorn (3102m) : north face or south face ? the choice of the route will depend on the snow consitions ans the weather forecast. DM:entre 650 et 800m / DD:entre 650 et 800m.

Day 3 : Le Wildstrubel (3243m) : return.

Day 4 :  Le Daubenhorn (2941m), ski down to the Daubensee and come back to Loëche by the Gemmi cable car . Transfer to Chamonix. DM:629m / DD: 711m.

Group size
6 people per Evolution 2 high mountain guide.
